FOUNDATION
Our mission is to support children with disabilities and learning difficulties with therapeutic services as well as teachers through training and mentorship to ensure effective inclusive education is practiced in Ghana.
As part of our corporate social responsibility, SPTC selects public schools in urban and rural communities within the country.
-
Students with learning difficulties, behavioral challenges and disabilities are identified and assessed.
-
Interventions and Individualized Education Plans are drawn for children who have challenges after assessment is completed.
-
5 teachers are trained from each school on identifying and supporting children with childhood disabilities and learning difficulties
-
As part of Basic Design Technology course, students are tasked to make wooden ramps as a way to make classrooms accessible
-
Follow ups are done to check on the well-being and academic performance of students.
-
Professional development team members act as mentors for teachers while working with the unique children.
-
Sensory toys and therapeutic items are donated to selected schools.
10% of all proceeds go towards the foundations activities and schools to help support inclusive education in Ghana.
We have covered ten (10) schools already and we would want to cover more schools to meet the demands in our communities and improve functional outcomes in neuro-divergent learners and their families.
Anyone interested in supporting us can send funds to:
